Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do commissioned work?
Absolutely! I can do almost anything in my style and if I haven’t I’m always down for a challenge. So if you love my work but don’t see the specific theme you’re looking for, hit me up!
How do I get JP DiCarlo Art up in my business?
I do work with a few curators for this, but if you are looking to just have my work up exclusively that is something we can most definitely work out! Hit that “Contact Me” tab on here or even my social media DMs.
Are you open to Collaborations and Brand Ambassadorships ?
Short answer is yes. It would just need to make sense. Since I am an artist, I am open to trying and promoting art materials. But also, I live paint at a lot of breweries, wineries and all kinds of places. So if something connected with that I’d be down for as well.
How do I get JP DiCarlo to paint live at my event?
I love live painting at events! Great way to connect and include my audience into my work. It’s also super entertaining for your patrons! Payment wise there are a few options.
1) Pay for the live piece straight up. 2) 50/50 Raffle. 3) If I get to have a set up I don’t charge cause I have Artwork/Merch with me.
As far as markets go, I am very selective. Most markets aren’t geared towards Art, so artists don’t typically do well. If your market is more Art focused I will most definitely consider it!
Charity events I typically donate the piece. Unless there is some other arrangement that’s preferred.
Where is your studio located?
I am based out of the Tampa Bay area down in Florida. Since I am not a full time artist my studio is wherever I can create. Where its my kitchen… garage … even my car lol.
What art materials do you use?
I use mostly acrylics. But especially nowadays I am incorporating spray paint, some collage work and soon oil paints in my pieces.
